ATS Multiplayer Convoys Every Saturday Nights @7pm ET | TruckandTrain

⚠️ Read the config.cfg and Search Options sections at the bottom before joining — you will not be able to find our server without it!

We run American Truck Simulator convoys every Saturday at 7:00pm ET on the TruckandTrain server. Join us by 7:15pm. Get the password on stream from TruckandTrain (Twitch / Kick / YouTube).

TL;DR: To find us, you need to edit your ATS config file for large servers. Also, in Convoy Search Options check the search filters for “Sessions With Mods” and “Sessions With Optional Mods.”

Your config.cfg must be set to allow servers larger than 8 players (set it to 128 — see below), or TruckandTrain won’t appear in the list. First time joining and can’t find it? Search by Server ID: 85568392936437248.

POOR MAN’S CONVOY — Saturday 7pm ET

Anyone with any combination of states can join, including base game only. We’ll drive exclusively in states the least-equipped player has access to. This convoy is designed to be inclusive — everyone’s welcome.

We don’t follow speed limits strictly, it’s ok to open it up and see how fast your truck will go! But we expect you to drive sanely around each other. Please no passing other drivers on the right shoulder, for example. Let others go at their own speed, don’t crowd up. That’s our style, now the rules.

THE RULES

Damage is on. Drive carefully — don’t hit other people, even accidentally.
Keep mods reasonable. We run optional mods on the Trucky server, but excessive mods or lights aren’t allowed. If others can’t see your truck, you can’t use it!
We sometimes take World of Trucks / External jobs they have a 65mph speed limit.
CB radio: Keep transmissions under 10 seconds. Streamers need to monitor chat simultaneously.
New players: We expect you to be responsive on the radio and join the conversation.
Time changes (when we skip from night to morning in-game) cause a brief screen flash. If you’re photosensitive, let us know so we can give you a heads-up.
Join within 15 minutes of stream start if you already have the password.
Drive Right: don’t be malicious and have fun.

DRIVING STYLE

We drive as a group — that’s what makes convoys fun. When someone has a mishap, we typically collect at the nearest on-ramp and wait. On interstates we move at higher speeds and weave traffic; on two-lane roads we’re more careful. I favor scenic routes over the fastest path, so if you want pure A-to-B efficiency, this may not be your convoy. Expect routes like Highway 40 through the Colorado Rockies.

ABOUT TIME CHANGES

Driving at night means missing scenery and cutscenes, so when in-game time hits 10pm we advance it to first light. This causes a brief screen flash even when done incrementally. If you’re photosensitive, just let us know before we make the change.

A NOTE ON MONEY

Experienced players have deep pockets and can absorb damage easily. New players may find damage costly — you could need in-game loans if you’re not yet earning well. Get your own truck first if you can; even if the game technically allows earlier convoy play, it’s a rougher experience when you’re still grinding.

CONFIG.CFG SETTINGS

To find our convoy, look for the TruckandTrain server in the game’s Convoy search. Note, we allow more than 8 players so you need to set a line in your config.cfg file first or you won’t find us! Edit your config.cfg (back it up first to be sure!) and change this line to 128. Then you’ll discover servers larger than the default eight people limit.
